The Maharashtra government has decided to re-open schools in areas where no active COVID-19 cases have been reported in the last one month. The schools have been allowed to resume offline classes for students of Classes 8 to 12 from July 15. The government's order said teachers and staff members need to be vaccinated before the schools resume.
